Design Team Lead Engineer
Rate: Based on experience
Location: South Yorkshire
Duration: 6 months initially
DESIGN TEAM LEAD required for long term CONTRACT role with one of the UK's premium RAIL companies. My client is looking for a project manager with a mechanical design or electrical design background, ideally with railway vehicle, rolling stock design/refurbishment experience. Structural design experience would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven track record or managing significant projects, in excess of £1'000'000 in value. Responsibilities will include:
-Writing specifications
-Managing design review process
-Customer liaison
-Producing documentation for client review
-Supplier management
-Budget control
