A global specialist Clinical Research Organisation have openings for their Biostatistics and Programming team here in the UK.Rates:50-55per hour
Due to the nature of the projects and the studies they are currently working on, they are offering the flexibility for Statistical Programmers / SAS Programmers to be based remotely!
With this in mind, you will still be a vital member of their team and have regular interaction with the project lead, department director and have weekly meetings with other home based programmers.
This biopharmaceutical giant is seeking dedicated and talented individuals to contribute to the programming aspects of phase I-IV projects for clients, making this role a very diverse and much more exciting opportunity. You will also be given the opportunity to work in all therapeutic areas and use provided training to enhance your skills in certain areas.
As a Statistical / SAS Programmer you will deliver advanced technical knowledge as part of the Biostatistics team to improve and maintain programs to meet client needs. You will also participate in the planning of project associated solutions and a vast range of statistical programming activities. As well as being involved in the development and validation for new technologies, macros and applications.
To be considered for thisSAS Programmer role you must have the following background and experience:
- Strong knowledge of statistical computing uses such as SDTM / ADaM, Base SAS, SAS/STAT and SAS Macro Language
- Advanced understanding of statistics and/or clinical drug development process
- 2-3 years experience as a SAS Programmer within a CRO or Pharmaceutical
- Good leadership and communication skills
