Compensation
Compensation will be competitive and is variable based on experience, portfolio, work ethic, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:

Development and integration of our eCommerce platform for external partners

Rapid application and development of new features for internal and external partners

Provide input and planning on architectural improvements to our eCommerce platform

Integration of external partner store front designs, campaigns and events

Requirements:

You will have 5+ years as an experienced PHP5 programmer

Strong experience with large traffic sites including (load balanced servers, memcached, sphinx, CDNs)

Experience in SEO, SEM and eCommerce marketing are advantages

Experience with cloud hosting and SaaS

Experience developing or interfacing with 3rd party APIs (billers, shippers, analytics etc)

Experience working with PHP frameworks

Experienced in MySQL? including transactions and stored procedures

Understanding and using OOP concepts such as namespaces, classes, chained methods, etc will come as second nature to you and have extensive experience in developing optimized code

Familiarity with source code control systems (previous experience with Git is a plus) and distributed development environments

Experience in agile programming methodologies

Develop clean code that is well documented and follows standard coding conventions

Proficient in PHP5, XML, JSON, SOAP, cURL

Competent in HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript (Ajax, JSON, jQuery). Experience with NodeJS and Websockets is a plus

Knowledge of responsive HTML designs

Bachelor’s degree of equivalent qualifications

Location
ToyFoundry is accepting applicants from all locations who can work collaboratively in a distributed team environment. Preferably, the successful candidate shall be located in Brisbane, Australia.
