Are you looking for a School SIMS Administrator job in Hillingdon, Greater London starting immediately?

A lovely mixed comprehensive primary school in the Hillingdon area is currently looking for a SIMS Administrator to cover a six month time period initially, with a view to going permanent depending on the impression made. You will be reporting directly into the head and be responsible for the general SIMS administration within the school.

The role will predominantly relate to the use of SIMS but will require knowledge of school financial procedures, such as bank reconciliation, so school based administration experience is essential.

KEY TASKS

1.Act as Secretary and Personal Assistant to the Head teacher. Word-process all confidential correspondence, working papers and reports including curriculum documents. Maintain appropriate confidential computer files.
2.Maintain and update student database records upon SIMS.
3. Receive and be responsible for the safe keeping of all monies and other valuables handed into the school office.
4. Liaise with the Site Manager on repairs, requisitions and orders for cleaning materials.
5. Carry out the administrative/clerical tasks associated with staff appointments including obtaining references and other relevant paperwork. Advise Education Personnel of successful applicants and leavers.
6.Ensure smooth operation of the computerised management information system. Maintain security through user lists.
7. Liaise with the Parents' Association and Governors with regard to purchases, printing of regular Newsletters, the selling of programmes, tickets, etc.
8. Manage the application procedure and admission of children to the Nursery in accordance with the schools admission policy.
9. Manage the admission of children to the school in accordance with the admission policy.
10. Liaise closely with the Local Authority admission team regarding vacancies and in year admissions.
11.
