Worry Free Labs (WFL) is a web and mobile design and development company with a passion for progress and a mission to create remarkable user experiences that bridge beauty and function. Since we were founded in 2005, we’ve designed and developed more than 600 mobile and web-based solutions for clients ranging from Fortune 2,000 companies to startups and nonprofits.
The WFL team is currently seeking a highly-experienced iOS/Android Software Engineer to work on a freelance basis. Candidates should have a solid iOS/Android apps portfolio and a deep understanding of the differences between user interaction on an iPad and iPhone.
We’re based in NYC, but the position requires collaborating with a talented team of UX and UI designers and notable clients across the country. Therefore, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in small teams are essential. We’re also looking for someone who takes initiative in solving problems and will do so skillfully.
As with all candidates we consider for any position, we’re looking for someone with humility, a cheerful disposition, and a desire to learn. The ideal candidate has the passion and drive to help WFL make its mark in the industry.
All candidates should have:
- A solid understanding of OOP principles and MVC paradigm
- Solid experience with SQLite and SQL in general
- Excellent coding and testing skills in Objective C
- Experience with version control: Git and/or Mercurial
