Description
A rapidly expanding Financial Firm located in the heart of downtownChicagois seeking a highly motivated and self-starter Java Developer to help grow their expanding team. This position will be challenging, exciting and fast paced.The qualifications include:
-3-5 years of Java development
-Strong background in Java Script
-Experience with web-services (i.e SOAP, WSDL)
-Skill sets in MVC framework (i.e Struts)
-Basic SQL skills (Both Oracle and MS SQL-Server)
-A proven ability to work in a Linux shell (e.g. bash) environment
The ideal candidate will have basic trouble-shooting skills, great communication skills and strong desire to work within the financial industry. They should also posses a strong work ethic, a sense of urgency and an eagerness to learn and grow. Experience within a financial firm is desired but not a requirement.
