Description
Must Have Skills;5+ years experience creating, troubleshooting and supporting complex Windows, VMware and Storage solutions
5+ years in a Windows Infrastructure Architecture role, with some focus on Storage, technical designs and implementations
5+ years working with Windows Operating Systems, Clustering, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, and VMware
5+ years working as an Infrastructure Architect to implement complex solutions
5+ years working experience with a broad range of Infrastructure and Storage solutions
Experience with analyzing and documenting Technology solutions and mapping them to business TCO and ROI Analysis
Position Requirements
Research and evaluation of both software/hardware; IBM Power Systems, Windows, VMware and Storage products. Knowledge of Cisco networking technologies and/or CA Monitoring and ITIL products is a plus
Must be able to remain current and possess knowledge of emerging technologies
Advises management of options, risk vs. cost, benefits and other impacts on Infrastructure technology solutions
Sets technical standards and procedures across the enterprise for all strategic platforms.
Creates "Position Statements", "Technical Approaches" and "Technical Designs" documents as technology guidelines
Monitors and recommends current and future architecture trends
Communicates to, educates, and mentors colleagues
