Our client is seeking an Experienced Infrastructure Team Lead to join their team on site in Wantage, Oxford. Responsibilities

*Manage and lead internal Infrastructure Team projects from design through to implementation.

*Ensure all Infrastructure Team projects are documented to enable the operational support to be handed over to the Operations Systems Team.

*Define the EISS Infrastructure standards and ensure all Application Support and Local Support Teams follow these standards.

*Manage the European central infrastructure

*Provide second and third line support to the Application Support and Local Support Teams on all infrastructure and operational issues utilising the Operations System Team where necessary.

*Provide and maintain procedures and documentation in relation to all infrastructure and operational solutions.

*Provide and maintain up to date disaster recovery plans to ensure the central infrastructure can be recovered in a reasonable timescale. Carry out annual disaster recovery simulations to ensure the accuracy of these plans.

*Provide and maintain toolsets to allow health and performance monitoring of infrastructure elements.

*Liaise with external service providers when required.

*Liaise with the Application Support and Local Support Teams Essentials:

*VMWARE

*Windows

*Firewalls

*SL Server

*Xchange

*Windows

*Telecoms experience is also desirable
