On behalf of Hyphens FTSE 100 Financial Services client I am looking to recruit a Senior Pensions Administrator for a period of 10 months based in Reading.

It would be your responsibility to support the acquisition and servicing of Bulk Annuity business through the use of Datamodelling Systems, analytical investigation and Defined Benefit Pension Scheme knowledge. Senior Pensions Administrators are expected to demonstrate a higher level of capability than Pensions Administrators.

Key Results Areas
*Use appropriate Datamodelling tools to price, implement and administer defined benefit pension scheme information.
*Analysis and appropriate manipulation of Defined Benefit pension scheme data, using technical knowledge of Defined Benefit pension scheme rules and legislation.
*Investigate and implement changes to Defined Benefit pension scheme information.
*Continually monitor processes and customer service and make recommendations for improvements.
*Act as a point of contact for internal customers and team members, ensuring necessary action is taken to resolve queries.
*Where applicable to the role, ensure that all relevant expenditures are properly authorised and monitored.
*Act as processor and checker of complex work types.
*Assist Technical Advisor/Coach in recognising training needs and then prepare, deliver and monitor success of training provided; managing workflow; managing system functionality.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
*Experience of in-house administration systems needed
*Knowledge of Defined Benefit Pension schemes
*Good IT skills: telephony, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
*Good problem solving skills, analytical and decision making skills.
*Good understanding of business processes and systems.
*Some understanding of planning frameworks and methods.
*Communication and interpersonal skills.
*Good organisational and time management skills.
*Evidence of having effectively built working relationships.
*A professional approach to work with good attention to detail with focus on quality and accuracy
*Some understanding of the financial services market and regulatory environment appropriate to role.
