UML Analyst with 6 years of experience
DESCRIPTION OF TASKS
Tasks
Analysis of user requirements and modelling of new information systems, including prototyping,
Production of use case models using UML notations, design and analysis models, implementation models, making full use of the available UML tools, Data analysis, Datamodelling using relational databases (eg Oracle, MySQL)
Follow-up of the developments achieved, Technical Interface between the project leader, the application architects, and the developers,
Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users, including those happening outside of client Headquarters.
Assist in estimate workloads, define plans, tasks and artefacts of projects, manage their regular follow-up, identify risks and guarantee successful results by performing daily follow up of the developments, Assistance in the technical documentation, the technical training, the deployment, the evaluation and the reporting
Participation to missions of the client
Technical skills
Very good knowledge of modelling tools and languages (eg UML),
Very good knowledge of software development methodologies (eg RUP, Agile),
Good knowledge and a proven professional experience of development environments (eg ColdFusion with FuseBox framework, J2EE with Spring/Struts frameworks) and of Relational Databases (eg Oracle) to be able to follow-up efficiently works achieved by developers,
Good knowledge of collaborative development tools (eg IBM Rational Team Concert, Rational RequisitePro, etc.),
Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments,
Ability to work (speaking/writing) in English for all project artifacts and meetings, and a good understanding of French,
Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, ease of communication,
Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid selfstarting capability, self motivated and experience in team working.
