UI Designer

Description

Client: A growing telecoms company who offer consultancy based services, research amp; development services and new products to the telecommunications industry in Ireland and internationally. The client is going through a period of growth and are looking for a daily rate contractor to join their team for aprox. 3 months at a rate of up to euro400 per day. Duties amp; Responsibilities: o Participation in usability reviews o Design UI based on story-board o Ability to work independently from assignment through completion o An eye for design and layout Skills and Experience: Essential: The successful applicant will be an experienced UI developer with broad understanding of all the components of consumer facing visualisation applications. You will have:o 4+ plus years UI development experience in a commercial environmento Excellent JavaScript, AJAX, HTML5 and CSS3 skillso Experience in developing dynamic JavaScript Applicationso Good understanding of web technologies, usability, object oriented programming and development frameworkso Ability to work within a small high-performing team in an agile environmento Front end automated testingo Cross browser and cross device development Although it is not a requirement, it is desirable and an advantage that you have: o Ability to design mock-ups (Photoshop/flash) from UI storyboardo Previous experience in advanced visualisation projects involving any one of the frameworks - ; JQuery, Dojo, GWT, YUI, ExtJS etc.
