Senior .NET Developer/Technical Project Manager - CBD, 6 months, $70-75 an Hour
The Company
This is opportunity is with a leading online retailer. The business has recently started a number of major IT projects and as a result is looking for a talented Senior Developer with strong technical project management skills to join its team.
The Role
As an integral member of the development team and with most of the work already underway you will be responsible for the following:
* Successfully direct and lead both development and design project streams to completion
* Maintain communication lines with all key stakeholders
* Manage and track progress of projects and issue weekly updates against forecasted timelines
* Accurately raise and track project issues to resolution
* Manage a team of 6 people
Required Skills/Experience
As a Senior Developer with Technical Project Management experience you will a strong leader with a proven ability to deliver complex projects. It is essential that you are able build and manage relationships at all levels.
You will also be able to demonstrate the following:
* Strong Web Development background (5+ years)
* Strong Microsoft "Dot Net" development experience (5+ years)
* Project Portfolio management experience (3+ years)
* Team Management experience (3+ years)
* Material eCommerce experience
* Aligned industry (Direct Marketing/Retail) experience highly valuable
* Experience working with/within medium to large enterprise
