Description
Our client, a major European based Investment Bank is seeking a C++ Developer to join an exceptional eFX technology team. The successful candidate will be assigned to an in-house developed FX eCommerce application, which is core to the Bank's eFX business line and has an on-going requirement to increase its global footprint and client reach.
Job Responsibilities
- Under supervision of an architect, you will take responsibility for building and integrating components in the FX eCommerce system
- Build relationships with system architects based in London and Singapore
- Communicate with architects, business analysts and project managers to gather requirements and reach agreements on technical solutions
- Develop components with high unit tests coverage and adequate automated tests
- Manage quality of your deliverables at every stage of the development life cycle (design, implementation, integration, validation)
- Prepare and execute all technical tests, including performance tests
- Amend existing components to correct errors and to adapt to new requirements, or to improve their performance.
- Participate in 2nd level support activity during APAC business hours
Job Requirements
- Theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience of multi-threaded, low latency, high throughput development
- Messaging and communication protocols including routing schemes and messaging delivery strategies (hands-on experience of some Middleware messaging frameworks is desirable)
- Proven track record of designing and developing Server Side applications with high throughput
- Hands-on experience on design and coding Server Side application in C++
- Hands-on experience on design and coding GUI in C#
- Hands-on experience on SQL programming
- Hands-on experience of unit testing
- Experience in at least one complete Full Software Development Life Cycle of an in-house FX eCommerce system (not a package)
- Experience with market data adapters and ECN connectivity
- Modern UI built with WPF technology
- Knowledge of FX products
