POSITION DETAILS
GTN Technical Staffing is searching for Senior Citrix Administrator for a long-term contract opportunity in Irving, TX. We need a XenDesktop EXPERT for our client. You must be proficient in supporting XenDesktop in a pure Thin Client environment. Our client has a virtual desktop environment and its relying on XenApp to publish applications to their dummy terminals. XenDesktop 5.6 is being used as their Virtual Desktop Environment. They ultimate goal is to have all machines as end-clients and need your help to pave the way. Other daily duties will include providing daily administration of XenApp, XenDesktop, and Presentation Servers.
You should have advanced knowledge of implementation features and functions in a Windows Server environment. You must have experience publishing applications through XenDestop (no exceptions) as well as experience providing supporting Windows Servers and VMware environments.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience in the following skill sets
- Citrix Administration/Configuration/Troubleshooting/Support:
- Citrix XenApp - Publishing Application to Dummy Terminals
- Citrix XenDesktop 5.6
- Citrix Presentation Server
- Active Directory - Administration/Support
- Familiarity with Quality of Service (QOS) Models and Best Practices
- Windows Server - Administration/Support
- VMware - Administration/Support
- Bachelors Degree
PREFERRED
- Citrix Certifications:
- Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA)
- Citrix Certified Advanced Administrator (CCAA)
- Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer (CCEE)
- Citrix Netscaler
- NetApp SAN Administration/Support
