My client is a large banking group based in Bristol. They are currently recruiting for an accountant to work in a team 8. This role would be suitable for a part qualified of newly qualified accountant with experience of using SAP. The candidate is required to start ASAP.
The focus of this role will be to work on Source to SAP reconciliations, the accountant will be helping to ensure that data ends up correctly in SAP. In total there will be 6 different systems to reconcile in detail.
The working environment will be very busy up until day 9 of the month - this time will spent completing month end. From there onwards there will be involvement in a major finance project. There will also be alot of work speaking to various stakeholders in order to try and understand any unreconciled items.
- This role will involve a huge amount of data handling so it is imperitive that the candidate has experience working in an environment where they have handled large data sets.
- Excel skills must be strong
- SAP experience is required
- Suits a part qual/finalist or qualified accountant
- Background in handling large data sets is required
- Candidate must have a record of stakeholder management
