Senior Test Automation Engineer (Daily Rate Contract)
- This critical role on the Cloud Test team in the Services Product group, requires a strong background in automation.
- This role will be responsible for the implementation & maintenance of tools/automation frameworks to test Cloud platforms.
- The role involves working within the test, development & automation teams, to support and improve our existing framework & tooling.
This includes:
- Work with dev & test teams to gather requirements, and implement automation support for new areas
- Support existing tests, and Improve existing test coverage.
- Building new tool-set where applicable to reduce manual efforts involved testing of the cloud products.
- 4+ years experience automating large scale/complex system, including: GUI (web), webservices, DB, Back End services, SDK's, etc.
- Strong knowledge and experience of Java
- Experience with Perl, ruby or python.
- Strong experience Selenium/WebDriver
- Experience of Virtualization using VmWare products (vSphere, vCloud Director, vChargeBack, etc), and their respective APIs.
- Proven experience designing/implementing custom automation framework/tooling
- Windows/unix systems knowledge, administration and Shell Scripting
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Experience in an Agile environment, managing multiple projects
