Embedded C, Real Time, Software Engineer, ARM, Microprocessor / Microprocessor, RS232, I2C, Leeds, West Yorkshire, 6 monthsTHE ROLE:
A leading Electronics company based just outside of Leeds, West Yorkshire have an immediate requirement for an Embedded Software Engineer to join there Software team for an initial 6 month contract role.
This is client is recognised globally for the development of there leading electronic communication systems used in social housing environments. All development and manufacturing happens on thereLeedssite.
Your role will be to join an existing project development, and add new function ability to the product.
There could also be the requirement to do some bug fixing to bugs that are already open.
For this role you should be a Software Engineer with excellent Embedded C programming ability and strong Microcontroller / Microprocessor experience (ideally with ARM Cortex or 16 / 32 processors ) . You should also be familiar with communication protocols such as RS232 and I2C.
The client is ideally wanting someone who is available immediately for this role, but are willing to wait a few weeks depending on your situation and experience.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Embedded C programming
- Microprocessor / Microcontroller experience ( ideally ARM Cortex )
- RS232 / I2C protocol experience
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:
- C++
- RF protocol/ Wireless protocol experience
