Description
As a .NET Developer in a government agency in Civic, develop enhancements to a very important Database.
What you will be doing:-
- database schema changes;
- modification of existing user interfaces;
- creation of web services using the W3C Standard of the Web Services Description Language (WSDL 2.0);
- unit testing and defect resolution.
Skills required:-
- solid design principles including relational database technologies and design techniques
- design and programming in multi-tier system delivery with web-based development (ASP .NET), WCF, smart client or Thin Client technologies
- work independently and participate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team with some supervision and to prioritise work and deliver within tight timeframes
- verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
- a proven ability to maintain good relationships with clients and colleagues
Relevant knowledge and experience in providing services to support IT for a large organisation.
NV1 Security clearance highly desirable.
