Project Coordinator - Job Description:
Resource will support life cycle work for infrastructure refresh work. Resource will support projects from inception to completion working with internal tools and processes. They will provide input timelines, status reports and statistics. Resource will also be required to support projects appropriate to their skill set and will be required to support Project managers on large and/or complex projects.
Requirements:
- Experience Level: 3-6 Years.
Educational Requirement: min. High School Graduate
- Excellent project coordination skills with the ability to work with large diverse groups
- Very good communication skills (verbal and written), including Excel. PowerPoint and Project
- Experience with infrastructure and application life cycle management
- Experience project coordinator for both AIX and storage migrations. Experience with EMC and Shark storage a benefit.
- Flexibility in work hours a plus as migrations at times must happen outside of regular business hours
- Experience in enterprise level companies
- Must be able to work under short timeframes
- Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team
- Must be able to provide detail and executive summary reporting on a weekly basis
- Must be able to support multiple but similar projects in parallel
- Must be able to review, understand and provide meaningful input into process and possible improvements in methodology's
Top Daily responsibilities:
- Support PM in creating requests and tracking status as required
- Gather data from team and produce weekly/monthly reports
- Schedule meetings and take meeting minutes
