Description
My Dutch customer has a requirement for a VMware Systems Engineer for a 6 month contract but with the possibility of further extensions beyond the initial period.
The Vmware environment consists of multiple clusters hosted on IBM xSeries, distributed across two geographical locations hosting a combination of both Linux and Windows based guests.
Applicants should have in depth knowledge of vSphere 5 with VCP 5 certification, good knowledge of both Linux and Windows operating systems software, Powershell/PowerCLI Scripting, good networking skills and in depth TCP/IP and vSphere distributed switch understanding, knowledge of Intel-based Servers and SAN technologies. In addition Vmware vCloud Director (vCD) and Vmware VCAP-DCD (vSphere 5) certification is desirable as is any experience with IBM x-series Servers.
The business language is English but the ability to converse in either French or German would be useful though not essential.
