CIVIL WORKS, ROLLOUT, CONSTRUCTION, TELECOMMUNICATIONS
Civil works engineer required by leading telecommunications organisation on a 12 monthly rolling contract in Norway.
-Key responsibility of all Structural calculations performed and required within the Roll Out, handling and securing usage of correct standards, rules, laws and guidelines.
-Fully responsible handling all daily work related to construction work and civil work related issues
-Represent my client in negotiation CW-TI subcontractors, landowners and what will be seen required.
-Internal present & handle all CW related topics.
-Responsible for design and solution specifications and guidelines on all GF, RT, Colo, National Park (NP) sites & Alternative Power Solutions (APS)
-Participate in the CW-TI decision process, defining need of Alternative Power Solutions (APS)
-Introducing subcontractors and ROM staff to CW specifications, guidelines, processes & tools.
-Support all Phase teams in respect of CW issues both remotely as well on site if so required.
-Maintaining defined CW specifications and guidelines.
-Propose and develop cost reduction opportunities.
-Define and update new and existing SID (Service Item Descriptions) for CW. Support procurement in evaluation of new SID:s.
-Secure correct quality within CW specifications, templates and guidelines
-Arrange training to existing as well as new CW subcontractor.
-Ensure that latest CW specific documentation templates are in use.
-Secure set quality requirements within CW & Structural calculation area.
-Attend meetings with the Customer representatives as required by my client
-Manage meetings and other communication with the CW-TI subcontractors
-Manage and arrange meeting with possible new vendors within CW-TI area.
A Norwegian, Swedish or Danish speaking consultant is preferable as is a consultant who has experience working in Scandinavian countries.
