Senior IT Project Manager - Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act

Senior IT Project Manager - Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act, is sought for my client based in Stockholm/Sweden. However, the role also involves occasional travel to Finland and Denmark. This is a contract opportunity of 8 Months duration within the Banking sector.

The assignment is to start up a new project that will coordinate the Corproate Institutional business (CIB) area with: a)one interlinked ongoing client programme FATCA ( Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act). b)other scope consisting of Customer Static Data (CSD) & Legal Entity Identifier (LEI).
It's mandatory and has regulatory/legal requirements towards the client as a bank.

There's a need for an overall level understanding what should be the Bank's IT solution forward; short-term and longer-term. Short-term - How to implement the changes into existing systems so that the changes support also the future goal. This is more coordination and understanding of the business need, and then translating that to the IT tasks that system responsibles then implement. Included in the scope is to set-up a governance structure for how CSD, LEI and FATCA should be handled within the organisation.
FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act) is the clients on-going programme that gives support and guidance and takes the person into that world. There is a consultant gathering info regarding LEI issues so also 'training' of the issue can be arranged.

The ideal candidate profile for this opportunity is:

- Core Project Management skills.

- Anyone that has worked in the FATCA or similar "Foreign Account tax Compliance Act" area before.

- Business understanding from CIB customer segment/Banking is preferred.

- Knowledge/Experience of Swedish/Finnish/Danish Tax Compliance would be preferable.

- Drive to achieve, facilitation skills and excellent Stakeholder management skills. You need to be able to talk and understand IT language to non-IT business stakholders.

- Personal skills: Proactiveness, Communciative with a solution oriented approach is needed to succeed.

- Fluent Business Level English is needed internally but also in need to follow official regulatory language.

- Candidates applying must be eligible to work in Sweden (Work Permit/EU Passport).
