My Client Secondary School in the Tameside area of Greater Manchester are looking to add a talented Maths graduate to their support staff after the February half term. This full time teaching assistant role will involve working directly with class teachers and faculty members; aiming intervention and small group work at targeted pupils who need support to meet their individual expectations.

Ideally the Head of Maths is looking for a graduate with;

**A Degree in Mathematics or similar (Maths/Physics)
**A strong academic background (GCSE/A-Level
**Experience supporting pupils at KS3 or GCSE
**Exposure to the current curriculum (Edexcel/AQA)
**An enthusiastic and hard working approach

The School was recently developed and now has state of the art facilities, most notably the resources available in classrooms which include I-Pads and I-Mac computers. After a recent Ofsted report the Head teacher has placed special focus on attainment levels in English and Maths across both key stages, with an aim to increasing the GCSE examination results in the summer of 2013.

Located in Tameside and bordering the Stockport borough, this School is within close distance of Junction 23 on the M60 motorway and offers on site parking to staff. Access via public transport is relatively straight forward with a main line train route running direct to Manchester Piccadilly; the closest stop to the School is around a 10 minute walk.

If the opportunity to work in a Secondary Maths department would suit your career intentions, we would like to hear from you. Any candidates with classroom based experience or previous employment working as a clerical marker, do not hesitate to send your CV through ASAP.

To apply for this post, please email your CV through to Ryan at Edustaff as soon as possible.
