As the successful Teaching Assistant you will be working across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5, supporting pupils solely within the Maths Department, helping them and ultimately supporting them in achieving and maintaining the excepted levels. The school have previously utilised Gradates to excellent effect, and as a result, a training programme has been put into place for all Teaching Assistants, which you will be apart of.

In 2012 Ofsted deemed the school as 'Outstanding', with the Maths Department being the forefront of this. Pupils are respectful and hard working, achieving some of the best GCSE and A-Level results the school have seen in the last few academic years. Staff and the senior leadership department in the school aim to create a welcoming environment for all staff, which will see you, become part of a tight knit team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work as a Teaching Assistant within a top Maths Department, but also you will gain a solid understanding of the national curriculum and the day to day running of a successful Secondary School, putting you in good place before you embark on your PGCE in September 2013.

Onsite care parking will be allocated to you should you drive, however the school is also conveniently located near several bus stops of which run on a regular basis.
