Equipment Engineer opportunity with a leading semiconductor organisation based in The Netherlands. Joining the Industrial Engineering Sector on a long term contract basis Equipment Engineers will help drive the operational requirements in to the early design phases.The Equipment Engineer Position:
* Contributing at every stage of the product lifecycle from new product optimisation to in the field servicing.
* Improving reliability, availability and operational cost of installed products at customer site.
* Specification of operational requirements
* Co-design of new products
* Integration, validation and introduction of new products
* Continuous improvement of volume equipment.
Job Description:
* Represent the operational sector in the co-design phase, ensuring the operational requirements are implemented in the co-design
* Review technical documentation of the multidisciplinary development team
* Definition of documentation, spare parts and tooling for the global service organization.
* Write service documentation, define spare parts and tooling
* Be the knowledge link between development and the operational sectors
* New product introduction towards field organization
* Analyze global product performance and define requirements for co-design improvement
Education:
Technical University Graduate in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or Optics/Physics
Experience Required:
* Ideally experience in a technical high-tech, automotive environment or relevant internship.
* Excellent English communication and writing skills
* Customer focus with both analytical and practical skills
* Flexible attitude and commitment are essential to the role.
