Avanti Engineering are currently working with one of the Largest Aerospace manufacturing companies in the UK based in London. They have an immediate requirement for a graduate mechanical design to work for them on a fixed term contract basis. This role will be ideal for a junior/graduate mechanical design engineer who is looking for some more experience and to broaden their skills as a designer. Ideal candidates will have;1 to 3 years experience with mechanical design
Some experience with small mechanical assembly design
2D and 3D modelling experience
Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering Design Field
The role will involve you doing design modifications to existing drawings and coming up with suggestions to change the design. Some of their products are switches and battery packs manufactured for the Aerospace sector. The ideal graduate mechanical design engineer will have some experience in a commercial environment and have a positive attitude towards mechanical design and show a willingness to learn and develop their skills.
