I have been instructed to search for a Quantity Surveyor to undertake a 6 month contract based in Portsmouth.The role will be focused on a project demolishing and rebuilding a bridge that is spanning over a set of railway tracks. You may be incorporated in to a couple of additional projects that our client is undergoing which are also civils biased.
To be considered for this role you must have experience working on bridges and have a strong civils background. You must also have clear experience in New Engineering Contract 3 (NEC3), ideally with option C design and build with target cost and experience in creating bills of quantities in accordance with the Method of Measurement of Highway works (MMHW).
The role is for an initial period of 6 months with the very likely potential it will be extended for a further 3 months.
