Description
Specialist Mechanical and Electrical OfficerFrom commercial gas, solid fuel, electric and renewable heating systems to passenger lifts and hygienic water supplies, your knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems will be highly valued.
You'll plan and deliver property maintenance and investment projects through subcontractors and partners, ensuring they deliver value for money. That means carrying out inspections and audit checks and applying quality assurance processes, as well as helping to manage budgets and keep comprehensive records. You'll also investigate complaints and oversee health and safety issues while works are in progress.
Along with an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), you'll have relevant Accredited Certification Scheme qualifications in Construction Facilities Management. Your in-depth working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in domestic premises will be matched by experience of inspecting works and of implementing health and safety measures. Project management experience is important and you must be able to work as part of a team to deliver high performance. A current driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
