Support Team Lead

An investment bank in the GTA area is currently looking for a full time, permanent employee to join their "run the bank" technology support team. They are looking for someone specifically with Broadridge (or similar settlements system experience) and strong database experience. This is a full time, permanent position. Salary is approx k. No relocation assistance is available.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and hands on application support across the team, ensuring business application availability, data quality and performance for the business users. Any incident/outage support issues will need to be addressed immediately, and strong relationship management skills are therefore necessary, as are communication and presentations skills.

Day to day responsibilities include problem management and root cause analysis. Useful technical skills also include programming and scripting, middleware and messaging technologies, databases such as Informatica, Oracle Sybase, SQL server etc.
