Are you an experienced Foreman or Supervisor with a background in Boiler Pressure Parts/Structural Steel/ Piping and are looking for a great new opportunity to work 24 month project in South Africa?

On offer is a 2 year fixed term contract to work on a new build in South Africa. The contract will be based 3 hours away from Johannesburg and the candidates will be met at the airport and taken to their accommodation

  • Boiler Maker Foreman & Supervisor

Responsibilities:

  • Control man hours allowed for erection.
  • This includes updating construction schedules and assisting with drawing up of construction schedules.
  • Ensure high standards of safety and quality are adhered to..
  • Must be able to work unsupervised and lead a team.
  • Must report all deviations from the scope of work timeously in writing to the Supervisor.
  • Oversee and be responsible for all high torque bolting (Piping positions).
  • *Foreman- Oversee and be responsible to assist the Supervisor in all erection activities on the Boiler
    Assist the Supervisor in running the site in a safe manner and within budget and on time
  • *Supervisor: *Assist the Construction Manager in running the site in a safe manner and within budget and on time.

Skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in this type of position on a similar project.
  • Must be able to read erection/construction drawing fluentl
  • Foreman-At least 5-6 years preferably in boiler pressure parts, boiler fitting, piping, structural steel
  • Supervisor- At least 15 years in pipe fitting, mechanical fitting, boiler making,welding or rigging.

  • A  monthly allowance for food and drink,
  • arrange visas,
  • supply accommodation as well as
  • Transport the candidates to and from work.
  • Salary +a scarce skills allowance (monthly bonus from the South African government)

Salary:

£40,000-£60,000
