Job Description:We are a start-up creating a platform of flash sales using Maya Shop theme and WooCommerce ecommerce capability. Our target audience is young women between the ages of 13 and 22 and a percentage of sales from all consignment clothing will be donated to charity. We will offer a buddypress community to share insights on charitable fundraising.
Our core development is being completed off-shore. We are looking for someone in the Bay Area to act as our CTO, ensuring that the project is completed on a timely basis and is using best practices. The position also will require some programming as well as quality assurance and SEO testing.
Additionally the job will require the right candidate to seek out additional outsourced development for add-ons such as avatars and games.
The initial project will be 6 months with time allotment from 24 – 40 hours/week. Pay will be competitive and in keeping with experience and expertise.
