Description

As a Software Application Support you will be responsible for maintaining second line support activities within the software support team. This includes following processes and procedures to track issues from the point they are raised by internal or external stake holder, through to verification and closure. In most cases, this involves navigation and interrogation of Window systems via command line interfaces and database queries.

To be successful in the role you will have experience in

  • Second line support activities within the support team
  • Follow processes and procedures, track issues through to verification and closure
  • Predominately Windows server environments (both physical and virtual)
  • Competent with MS SQL Server and writing/running queries for investigation and support processes.
  • Some exposition to .NET environment
  • Some exposure to SAN and NAS technologies
  • Assist in systems demonstrations and presentations if/when required, particularly in relation to data requirements and also server/system commissioning
