Senior Network Engineer (Cisco CCNP)
The role will be full project life cycle based, from design and implementation through to handling high level escalations at a 3rd to 4th line level.
You will be responsible for the management, installation and upgrading of the internal network which consists of the entire suite such Routers and Switches through to Firewalls, VoIP and Wireless. You will be involved heavily in the evaluation of brand new product solutions, meeting with vendors, exploring new technology and assessing suitability to the client's own network infrastructure. On the operational side you will be involved in resolving high level incidents at a 3rd to 4th line level. Key essential experience is: Riverbed Steelhead & Cisco WAAS
Technically they are working heavily within a Cisco orientated environment which covers the majority of their Routers, Switches and security. Add to this VoIP technology, Wireless and also WAN acceleration including F5 LTM, GTMs and Riverbed Steelhead.
The ideal Senior Network Engineer (Cisco CCNP) will have previously worked within a full project life cycle role or be keen to do so, along with broad hardware experience of essential: Routers and Switches, security beneficial: VoIP, wireless and WAN acceleration. One of the main things my client is looking for is a Network Engineer (Cisco CCNP )with experience of Riverbed Steelhead who has a passion for working with new technology.
