Senior Data Mining Consultant
Leading Multi National Telco Company is looking for a Senior Data Mining Consultant to work on developing application data and reports.
1. Review/Suggest proactive measures to fine tune application data (front and back-end)
2. Assist clients in tuning their reports as necessary
3. Help improve performance as a part of System Improvement plans
4. To perform detailed analysis on corporate customer data and Data Cleansing
5. Generate Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Performance reports with detailed analytical feedback
6. Provide Ad-hoc MIS / Data to the relevant user stake holder
7. Work closely with business and technical teams and external vendors
8. Ensure data integrity for reports
Essential Requirements
1. 10 Years in telecom, Minimum BSc GPA of 2.5 or over, Good grades or above only!- They will consider less but must either have solid 10 years of Data Mining for a big MNC or have over 7 years in Telco working on Data Mining, BI, Data Warehousing jobs. Dont send any DBA's or Oracle guys.
2. 2 + years of database SQL and reporting experience or a proven aptitude for analysis of data and creation of queries for analysis purposes
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required (English & Arabic (Optional))
4. Experience working with end user customers would be a plus or minimum you must have a desire to work with end users.
5. Experience with Web-based Applications preferred
6. Familiarity with SAP’s Web Intelligence suite (Business Objects) or other report creation software preferred
7. Extensive Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Access, SQL skills a plus
8. Presentation to Executive Management
9. Data-mining (need to know how to use Business Object and Teradata)
