Description
Next Ventures is urgently looking for an Informatica consultant to join the team of IT professionals involved in solution delivery and maintenance activities to the Informatica/SAP landscape of the Client. This role requires an English speaker only although portuguese would be beneficial.
Tasks:
- Proactive application and infrastructure monitoring, incident management, problem, change, Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA), escalation management;
- Provide guidance and recommendations on how best to monitor their environment to check that objectives are being met;
- Provide symptom check, critical situation analysis, recovery planning and implementation;
- Conduct trend analysis on infrastructure and application data in a end-to-end process;
- Understand business and IT monitoring requirements;
- Incremental development to support changing functionality requirements including improvements over the system;
- Help BAU teams understand aspects of scheduling;
Technical skills:
- Knowledge and Experience working with INFORMATICA Middleware (Power Center), UNIX, Unix Scripts and Oracle (PL/SQL); PERL Scripting (not mandatory);
- Experience managing and monitoring Integration solutions;
- Experience analysing and interpreting complex workflows;
- At least experience with one integration project where a SAP solution was involved (nice to have);
- Experience of working alongside internal and external providers in an international context (nice to have);
- Be required to work in professional cross teams environments, and at times, work autonomously;
- Degree in a relevant area, such as, Computer Science or similar education (not mandatory);
- Availability to work out of regular working hours and weekends if needed;

Location: Lisbon with occasional travel to Europe
Duration: 6 months
