Next Ventures are currently hiring for 1 Visual Designer to work on branding, visual style, and art assets for next-gen tablet and mobile phone enterprise solutions. It's a contract position as part of a team of designers and developers.

Functional/Technical skills
Participate in conceptual design
Create visual designs that effectively communicate product function and brand identity, including the design, color palettes, typography, animation, user interface assets and icons.
Demonstrated ability to create high quality work in an aggressive deadline and make accurate estimates for work tasks
Clearly communicate detailed visual design information over email and teleconference.
Participate as a contributor to an interdisciplinary team that includes creative leads, user experience designers, product managers, project managers, business and brand strategists and software developers.
Should be fluent (Spoken, written and read) in English and French

Mandatory requirements
Bachelor's degree in graphics design, interaction design, fine arts, or a related design discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education
Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience
Expertise with design and prototyping tools such as Fireworks, Photoshop & Illustrator.
Understanding of various form factors, resolutions, and limitations of mobile devices
Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to work independently
Ability to stay abreast of latest tools and trends
A passion for designs that make an emotional connection to users

Nice to have
Experience with iOS and Android, tablets and phones
Experience with 3D visual design software
