freelance web developer

Description

We are looking for a freelance web developer to work with a small Vancouver based graphic design firm building small and large web sites.

Must have extensive experience working with professional graphic designers. Must be an independent consultant (do not apply if you have a full-time job elsewhere). Must be based in BC or Washington State. Must have good customer service and communications skills.

Duties would include:

building sites for our clients

ongoing maintenance of our clients' sites

advising our designers

advising our clients

training our clients to use Drupal to manage their content

You would work out of your own office. You would need to quote (and be paid) on a per project basis. All contracts would be fixed-price, and would need to be quoted in advance. We are looking for a long-term relationship with a reliable, professional, team-player. We will do all the design, sales and project management work. In return, we ask for fast, accurate, work and the ability to commit to (and meet) our tight deadlines without fuss or drama.
