Description
My client is seeking an experienced SQL BI Developer for their rapidly expanding MI department based in South Yorkshire, for a 6 month contract.For this position you will need a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar developer/reporting role involving use of the Microsoft BI Stack (T-SQL and SSRS). Experience of SSIS & SSAS would be a definite advantage.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain business systems using SSRS, SSIS, Cubes, Data Warehousing and other business intelligence tools.
* Gathering and translating data requirements from stakeholders into SQL scripts / stored procedures / reporting structures.
* Take ownership of the existing reporting structures and drive changes to improve reporting in general.
Successful candidates will have the following key skills:
* At least 5 years commercial experience using T-SQL including stored procedures, functions etc
* A solid understanding of databases
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
* Strong analytical, problem solving and issue resolution skills
* A methodical attitude to SQL development and Business Intelligence
* Can-do attitude
This contract is for 6 months and the daily rate is between £320 - £370 per day.
