Market Data Administrator AVP, Investment Bank,London, Competitive Salary + Top Tier Banking BenefitsA leading investment bank is looking for a market data administrator. This person will be in charge of managing all administrative aspects of market data.
Responsibilities will include ensuring services are set up in a timely and cost effective manner, allocating costs to users via business cost centres, contract management and provision of appropriate services.
Other main duties will focus upon the maintenance of the MDM system (Market Data Manager) including updates of pricing to vendors, contract updates, maintenance of automatic uploads, login maintenance.
Strong communication skills are essential as you will be working closely with members of global and local teams. You will also take charge of agreed objectives to support the global administration of market data.
Ideal skill set and experience:
- Proven commercial experience within the market data industry
- Working knowledge of MDS 2000
- Current awareness of market data vendors and vendor contracts
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Great communication skills and the ability to develop relationships
- Degree educated
