Description
A tier 1 investment banking group are looking for a VP level Operational Risk specialist to provide risk and control oversight to the investment and group functions.This new role (made available due to someone relocating overseas) will provide autonomy to a small team and will have an overview of the UK, US and South Africa.
There will be a full interaction with the business and you will be expected to manage high level relations amongst the senior business in the Operational Risk teams.
The successful candidate will have to be:
- In a tier 1 bank
- stability on CV, with suitable Operational Risk experience, coupled with a strong knowledge of regulations risk and controls in Operational Risk.
- Fully qualified in relevant areas (ACA, FRM)
- Detailed knowledge of BIPRU 6 is essential
- Experience in successfully managing senior stakeholder relations.
