- Job Title: Senior Financial Accountant

Real Staffing are working with an NHS Clinical Commissioning Group who are require a Senior Financial Accountant to lead on the implementation of financial accounting systems and processes within the new organisation.
This is an ideal opportunity for a Financial Accountant with strong system skills and project management experience. The successful candidate will be asked to act on their own initiative and work without historical data.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Chief Finance Officer
- Production of the annual accounts
- Maintaining robust financial control systems and processes
- Ensuring accuracy and integrity of the financial ledger
- Monthly financial reporting and FIMs reporting
- Payment of invoices and debt collection
- Reconciliation of control accounts
- Capital management and planning
- Liaising with budget holders, internal and external auditors
Skills and experience:
- NHS (preferably PCT or commissioning body)
- Oracle systems use
- Qualified Accountant
- Financial accounting
- Operate at a band 8a level
- Systems or process implementation
Rate is negotiable and will be determined based on the quality and experience of the successful applicant.
