Candidates must either set up an Irish LTD Co or operate through an Irish Umbrella company. If you wish to use a UK based LTD company you would have to pay the exchange rate, which can fluctuate.
Job Description
We are looking for a talented developer to work in the Technology team. The developer should be experienced in an OO language and be interested in working in one of the most interesting parts of one of the world's largest banks. The successful candidate should have some knowledge of databases, HTML, Javascript/JQuery and REST. Any Object Oriented database experience would be a big plus. Knowledge of Python would also be advantageous.
This exciting role, based in our Central Dublin office, is well suited to strong developers with a keen interest in new technologies and investment banking. The candidate will work in the Model Risk technology team and will be contributing to some of the most significant risk projects in the organisation. The role includes interactions with multiple business groups (Front Office, Middle Office, Model Validators, and Finance etc). The successful candidate will work in a global team with colleagues in Ireland, the UK and the US. It offers opportunities to learn about technologies used in banking as well as ongoing training and the opportunity to work with and learn from technologists who are experienced in delivering successful large scale solutions.
Responsibilities
Requirements
*Degree/Masters or equivalent by experience
*Technical work experience
*Experience in Banking/Finance businesses a plus
*Experience with Python if possible
