Z/OS Mainframe Systems Programmer. System Dynamics has an urgent requirement for an experienced Z/OS Mainframe Systems Programmer to join our growing team in Dublin city, supporting our Irish and UK banking clients.
Must have some or all of the following: Ideally possess 7 years+ experience of working in complex Mainframe environments Experienced in all aspects of Mainframe systems programming Experience in the following in zSeries (IBM Mainframe) environments: Hardware: IBM z196 (or similar) IBM-compatible Enterprise Disk Storage, Enterprise Tape,HMC Software zOS HCD zVM and zLinux SMP/E and other software installation/configuration tools Monitoring software such as OMEGAMON RACF Fully conversant with IBM zOS JCL, REXX, ISPF and similar utilities Able to use problem determination tools such as IPCS Experience of Parallel Sysplex configuration and operation.
Dublin based, with remote working also possible. Role will involve out of hours support/on call/remote support and flexible approach to working.
