SCADA Specialist - Consultancy - BRUSSELS BELGIUM
One of the leading consultancies in Belgium is currently looking for a SCADA expert to start on a Project in January 2013. This is an initial 6 month contract with the intention of moving into a permanent position.
The client is looking for someone to provide application solutions, development, advice, and assistance to clients to design, develop, integrate, and maintain SCADA systems.

SCADA Specialist Tasks:
- Provide support and advice for SCADA applications.
- Responsible for communication with end-users and vendors for SCADA software enhancements and problems.
- Analysis, programming, troubleshooting, recommending solutions, and implementing fixes associated with SCADA systems and applications
- Work with business clients to align technical recommendations with business objectives by understanding the strategies and objectives of supported business units
- Conduct systems modelling, migration, and administration.
- Prepare and reviews design documentation.
SCADA Specialist Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with SCADA or process control systems preferred
- In depth knowledge and experience in assisting the security implementations
- Very good written and verbal communication skills and an ability to develop positive relationships with vendors and clients
- Ability to travel
- Information technology skills such as operating system and network administration
