About the job:
Further development of the existing web Front End application in a Javascript/JQuery framework: programming, test, integration with the existing CiteNPL workflow
Analysis of the provided user requirements and identification of implementation solutions
Liaison with the project team for testing and acceptance
Provide support related to Front End aspects during development, test and acceptance phases
Writing technical documentation
Support the project manager, the technical manager and the technical team members for technical decisions related to the application Front End
What will you do?

You are:
Pragmatic and result-oriented

Able to come up with ideas and proposals for enhancements to the products
Experienced in agile project management methodologies (Scrum).
A good communicator in English and able to write technical documents
Good team player, able to integrate and understand a complex environment quickly
You must have the following technical skills:
o Modern web client development: Javascript programming, jquery, Ajax
o HTML, CSS
o Json, XML
o Web services
o JBoss Application Server
o Java programming
o Versioning (CVS, SVN)
o Maven
o Eclipse IDE
You have proven experience in the following domains:
o Development of extensions for Firefox
o Javascript library for 2D graphics such as d3.js or protovis
o Deployment and production-level operation
o Analytical skills, including data analysis skills
o Test driven development in an Agile environment
o Operating Systems: Linux
o Jenkins Continuous Integration server
o Nexus artefact repository manager
o BPM and BPMN
Nice to have:
o Knowledge in technical and scientific literature, in particular metadata/bibliographical information and classification schemes
o Knowledge of prior art search
