Front End Developer for Mobile Site Wanted!
- 6 Month Contract
- Maquarie Park Location (next to train station)
A really strong Front End developer is needed for a piece of work for the mobile site. The piece will include interactive widgets such as sliders to interact with calculators - this will require a custom plugin creation, not just re-using something that already exists.
Specific skills:
- JQuery, Javascript, CSS (ideally CSS3), HTML
- Ability to write/customise jquery plugins
- Ability to work one-on-one with the UX and Visual Design guys to prototype solutions
- Ability to work with Back End developers to integrate code
- Ability to work in an agile team
- Ability to present prototype and final solutions to senior stakeholders
- HTML (XHTML 1.0, HTML5),
- CSS (2-3)
- JavaScript
- Advanced jQuery (Has built plugins, not just used them)
- OO JavaScript
- Backbone or equivalent -> Backbone.js or other JavaScript MVC framework
- SASS -> Sass or other CSS pre-processor
- Git/SVN
- Demonstrate Accessibility/Usability
- SEO
- Ajax
- JSON
- Jasmine Unit Tests -> Test Driven Development
Nice-to-have:
- Responsive design
- Mobile site development
- Nodejs
- Gruntjs
- CMS experience
- GitHub profile with code samples
- Freemarker (FTLs), JSP
