Our customer, a leading Consulting organisation with a strong background in the Resources Sector is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager with a strong understanding of Mining Production and Ouput processes and Control and Fleet Management Systems for a 12 month contract in Brisbane.The Senior Program Manager will oversee the entire program of work. They will manage multiple different streams, vendors and resources. They will be required to understand the technology strategy being implemented and drive the project to a successful completion.
The skills, experience and attributes our client is looking for include but are not limited to:
- Demonstrated strategic management at a program level in large complex environments
- Stakeholder management and engagement at an Executive level down.
- Ability to manage the clients expectations.
- A background working for a Consulting based organisation will be highly regarded.
- A strong understanding of Mining Production and Ouput processes and Control and Fleet Management Systems.
- Strong leadership, motivation and direction to the team members.
- Experience with Vendor Engagement and Management
- Rigorous approach to program management
- Proven ability to guide a client through the various phases of a program of work.
- Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated end-to-end project life cycle experience in multiple high profile projects:
- MSP, Prince 2 - Project Management Certification will be highly regarded
