Description

Responsible for developing and building a holistic view of an agency's Strategy, Services, Policies, Processes, Procedures and Information Assets. Ensures alignment between business and IT strategies in the agency, on the one hand, and alignment with Yesser e-government Policies, Standards, Frameworks and Shared Services, on the other. Ensures Agency's e-Government strategy is in alignment with the National e-Government Strategy Defines the agency's Enterprise Architecture through multiple architectural models that depict how the current and future needs of the agency will be met in an efficient, resilient and sustainable manner Working with all concerned stakeholders, the Enterprise Architect defines and prioritizes the agency's e-services and develops the blueprints, specifications and transformation road map for the development of these services. Advises on options, costs-benefit analysis, risks, architecture technology and integration issues Manages the Enterprise Architecture team and owns the Enterprise Architecture artifacts Reports to Yesser Management according to the communications plan.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in IT or related discipline
  • Enterprise Architecture certification (preferably TOGAF 9.0)
  • Sound business acumen
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in IT architecture. 4 of which in Enterprise Architecture
  • Must have played the role of an Enterprise Architect on at least 2 enterprise-level projects
  • Architecture, design and programming skills with solid knowledge of EA Framework's and Methodologies. WA and Software Engineering and Design principles. Service Delivery and Management (eg ML V 10).
  • Infrastructure architecture and design
  • Solid knowledge in systems integration, migration planning Security data protection, e-legislations, procurement, contract management and SLAs.
  • Well versed in Business process reengineering and tools
  • Communication and interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to build and cultivate client relationships.
  • Leadership, negotiation and conflict management skills
  • Experience in the public sector, specifically in an e-government environment, is a plus
  • Fluency in Arabic is a must.
