The Client

Our client is a leading company in their field with offices through the APAC region as well as operations in the Americas and Europe. They have a small but yet complex IT environment and are now looking to bring on a Technical Support Engineer for a 6 month period.

The Role:

Our client is seeking an experienced Desktop/Technical Support Engineer to join their existing team for a 6 month period. Due to a number of ongoing projects they are seeking an engineer who can take ownership of Level 1 & 2 Support for the business, whilst also in time gain further exposure to their systems on a local, regional and national scale.

Duties will include:

  • Technical Support of users (L1/2/3) as well as Server and Network support.
  • Taking ownership of support issues from initial notification through to closure where possible
  • Assist with support and maintenance of Microsoft Windows Server environment along with Exchange

The Requirements:

Our client is seeking a competent all rounder with previous experience in a similar role in a medium sized organisation.

Other requirements will include:

  • Experience with Server OS including Windows Server & Exchange
  • Previous exposure to Cisco networking technologies
  • Exposure to Citrix and advantage
  • Relevant industry certification(s)
  • ITIL exposure or certification an advantage also
