Onsite Support Engineer - Asset Management

My client, a prestigious financial institution in the Asset Management industry is looking for an experienced Onsite Support Engineer.

Job Description

  • On Site end user and VIP support tasks.
  • Communication to Service Desk.
  • Escalation.
  • Problem Management.
  • Communication.
  • Infrastructure management.

Required Experience/Skills:

Language Capability

  • Fluent in spoken and written Dutch & English.
  • End User Service Delivery covering all aspects of the IT environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments, desktop application integration.
  • Knowledge of IP telephony.
  • Good knowledge of ITIL processes (change management, incident management, problem
  • management).
  • Working in a stressful environment where responsiveness and flexibility is key.
  • Working with performance measurement and metrics.
  • Continuous quality improvement of service delivery/processes.
  • Client driven: Building, maintaining and acting on strong relationships with internal and external
  • clients.
  • Preferably knowledge of the financial markets business domains.
  • Windows XP/7, office 2003, office 2007, office 2010, ITIL Foundation v3, knowledge of financial
  • systems (eg: Bloomberg).
  • 2-3 years working experience preferably in financial domains.
